Bring movement and texture to a wall with this study of water over dark rock, the flow smoothed into something closer to fabric than liquid.
Pale water pouring over near-black stone, every ripple pulled into a long soft streak so the flow reads as silk laid over the rock. Against it the stone is almost black, wet and hard-edged, and that contrast is the whole picture. There is no horizon, no sky and no sense of where this is: cropped this close, moving water stops being a river and becomes pure form — soft against hard, pale against dark, motion against stillness. It holds a wall the way a texture does rather than the way a view does, and the near-monochrome palette means it will sit against a coloured wall without fighting it. Well suited to bathrooms, bedrooms and hallways, and to calm, Japandi or minimal interiors.
Printed on premium 200 gsm semi-gloss paper, which keeps the wet rock genuinely dark instead of letting it grey off against the white water.
